it has a lot of information but the diet menus are for only 185 lbs guys and there’s no chart to calculate it for any other weight

This is a very good and easy to read book, the author took his time to explain everything in a non-biology jargon, it was easy to follow through…I suggest people that are working out to buy it…and as well if you are into “Eating Healthy”, you will learn the benefit and make the right decision when it comes to food. Buy it, it’s worth it

Most of what is in this book are facts and ideas of which I was already aware. However, what it also provides is motivation and focus (something of which I am sorely lacking). It puts desire into practice and that’s key. I was won over only a few pages in by her discussion of mood and sugar. Addiction to sugar is a phenomenon that no doubt plagues much of the western world at present and is crucial to address. I also appreciate the dietary plans which make meal choices easy–even though operationalizing her advice is not automatic. Further, I was pleased to read that moderate carb diets can have some of the same positive effects as those that are carb devoid. Overall, Powerfood was a very good read.
